Because of the snow I'm spending quite some time inside and, when time allows it, knitting or working on my little embroidery scissor keep. I have much progressed since my last post.
Nicely tying in with my embroidery is the wonderful new BBC series Wolf Hall that I have been catching up on during the weekend. The series is based on the books Wolf Hall and Bring up the Bodies written by Hilary Mantel. This past summer I read both books and liked them very much. Also this past summer, during me and my boyfriend's holiday in England, we visited Lacock abbey. During our visit the BBC was also there, busily preparing to shoot parts of Wolf Hall. It was quite fun to see these preparations and some of the props.
Because of all this, I was quite excited when I saw the first trailer of the series. Having watched the first two episodes, I can say that I love this new series. Everything, in my opinion, is good about it, the actors, screenplay, clothing, locations, etc.
I hope I have whetted your appetite for this new series, because I think it's absolutely great. If you're also watching this series I'd love to hear what you think about it. Have a nice Sunday!
