I already shared a picture with you about this project in an earlier post without telling you what it was. Now the mystery (was it really a mystery?) will be solved.
The pattern I choose for this project is from Rowan Magazine 54 (my absolute favourite Rowan Magazine so far!) and is named 'Correlli'.
When I visited London with my boyfriend last year, I visited Liberty (maybe my favourite store, this is a post full of favourites) to buy the yarn and buttons. You can see the buttons below. I really love the design of these buttons, they remind me of the Arts and Crafts movement.
But now, just in time for this autumn and winter, my own 'Corelli' is finally finished. And I'm so very happy with it!
What I especially like are the buttons on the back and the puffed sleeves. It's these small extra's that make this cardigan more special and interesting than most cardigans. What's also special about it, of course, is that this is a hand-made piece of clothing.
Below is a picture of my progress so far and in my next post I'll tell you some more about it and my progress.
